Also, anyone know how to get a DVD-disc copy of this miniseries? The only way I know of is to get a VHS copy, then the next step is to rip it, and then burn it to a DVD-disc. This is the most frustrating process I have ever encountered in my life, and has been a nightmare for the last 5 years, so I can't find any information on the Web.
I will be posting here as I do my research, and I will also be posting the work I am doing on it. If any of you want to help, please send a message, or post a comment, I would welcome the help. I have the original VHS tapes, I just need to figure out how to transfer the VOBs. I also do have the original blood-soaked cutscene VOBs, which were done by the UK production company that did the TV-series of this miniseries. I am in the process of acquiring them, but they are not as easy to find as the VOBs.
I have a basic list of things that need work on, but I am sure that there are tons more. So please, if you are interested, feel free to comment or offer suggestions. This is likely going to be a very long process, as I am sure there are tons of things to do, and will need help from multiple people. And yes, I am very much open to the possibility of getting the original version of the miniseries finished and released, I have already contacted the original creator of the miniseries, and was told that I could have the original version.
P.S. I am currently seeking permission to use the music from this miniseries. It was created by Delbert Chase, and I know that his permission has not been granted yet. So if anyone out there can help me, please let me know!
